Do you charge a delivery fee?

Delivery and setup are included for locations within 20 miles of Jenn Brings Joy. Events beyond 20 miles will incur a travel fee of $1.00 per additional mile.

How soon should I book?

The sooner, the better! I recommend booking 2–6 weeks in advance for most events and even earlier for weddings, corporate events, and the busy holiday season. Last-minute bookings are always welcome based on availability. However, booking last minute (less than 2 weeks out from your event) will typically include a 15% rush fee.

Do you set up for outdoor events?

Absolutely! We love creating balloon décor for outdoor celebrations. However, it's important to keep in mind that balloons are naturally affected by the elements. During the hot South Carolina summer, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat can cause balloons to expand and pop. Rough surfaces such as hot pavement, gravel, or sharp grass may also increase the risk of damage. To help your installation look its best, outdoor designs require more durable balloons and are typically scheduled for installation just a few hours before your event. I also recommend choosing a shaded location whenever possible to minimize direct sun exposure and maximize the life of your balloons. While we take every precaution to create a beautiful display, balloon performance outdoors cannot be guaranteed due to weather and environmental conditions.

What is a Grab-N-Go Garland?

Grab-N-Go Garlands are the most budget-friendly option for customers looking to add a beautiful balloon accent without the cost of a full-service installation. Designed for easy transport and self-installation, these garlands are typically more compact than custom installations, making them ideal for backdrops, dessert tables, welcome signs, and smaller event spaces. You will be provided with everything you need, along with simple instructions, for easy setup.

What happens to the balloons after the event?

You get to keep the balloons! If there are rental items such as backdrops with your order, I will return to pick up the rented items, and can take down the balloons upon request.

Question 7

Do you require a deposit to book?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your event date and begin planning your custom balloon décor. Because every design is created specifically for your event, your retainer allows us to begin sourcing materials, reserving inventory, and securing your spot on our calendar. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your event.
